Our approach

IN FOCUS

From diagnosis to measurable improvement. We connect today’s performance improvement with tomorrow’s capacity for change.

Perform better today. Remain relevant tomorrow.

Performance and transformation are not two separate agendas.
Those who invest only in tomorrow risk weakening today's economic foundations. Those who optimise only what works today risk missing the changes needed tomorrow. Both approaches also demand scarce management capacity and investment resources.

TH!NCK connects both: improving performance, realising economic potential and strengthening the organisation’s ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

Tomorrow’s business is built on the performance and cash flow generated today.
Perform today ↔ Build for tomorrow

Improve the performance of the existing business while developing new business and revenue models, organisational capabilities and long-term competitiveness.

Performance ↔ Investment

Today's performance creates the financial capacity for change. Investment in change must, in turn, contribute to tomorrow's performance.

Scale ↔ Local execution

Scale creates potential. Value is realised only when the benefits translate into better operational performance — at dealership, team and individual level.

Strategy ↔ Capability

Strategy creates value only when leadership, the organisation and its people are capable of executing it — and adapting when circumstances change.

The essential point: operations and transformation must come together within the same management logic. The question is not whether to choose today or tomorrow, but what performance is required today to fund the next business model.

Performance and transformation are not separate agendas. Today's performance both finances and enables tomorrow's change.

03 · The performance gap

The gap between performance and potential.

Even a well-performing organisation may have substantial untapped potential.

That potential becomes visible in the difference between current and achievable performance. In margin, conversion, productivity, customer value, working capital or profit — but also in differences between dealerships, teams and business units.

The insight

Where a performance gap appears is not necessarily where its root cause lies.

Performance is the outcome of how strategy, commercial processes, leadership, organisational design, capabilities, systems and execution interact. Underperformance may be visible locally while its root cause lies elsewhere.

01 · Understand

From symptom to root cause

TH!NCK traces the performance gap back to the mechanisms that actually cause it. This reveals where the problem originates and how much untapped potential it contains.

02 · Quantify value

From potential to results

We translate that potential into economic value and determine where a targeted intervention can have the greatest impact: what needs to change, why there and how the outcome will be measured.

The intervention follows the root cause. Not the other way around.

That is where the potential lies. That is where TH!NCK.

Identify where the gap may originate
05 · How TH!NCK thinks

No solution before the challenge is clear.

The diagnosis determines the intervention. The results determine the value.

Sustainable high performance requires more than a single effective intervention.

The business environment keeps changing, and so do the demands placed on organisations and people. TH!NCK therefore focuses not only on the improvements needed today, but also on an organisation’s ability to achieve high performance again as conditions evolve.

Recognise what is changing and what it means for performance. Build the capabilities, processes, leadership and commitment needed to translate strategic direction into sustained results.

Understand what is changing and what that means for performance. Develop the capabilities, processes, systems, roles and leadership needed to perform differently. Make results visible, learn from them and create the conditions for people to take ownership of continuous improvement.

01

Performance first. Solution second.

The gap between current and achievable performance is the starting point.

02

Do not simply push harder on a KPI when its root cause lies elsewhere in the system.

Pushing harder on a KPI makes little sense when the root cause lies elsewhere in the system.

03

Value first. Activity second.

Activity is not an outcome. The economic value of improvement must be visible.

04

Evidence first. Promises second.

Demonstrate results through relevant performance and value indicators.

06 · Two valid starting points

Diagnose first or intervene directly?

There are two valid ways to begin: clarify the causes first, or intervene directly where the challenge is already understood.

ENTRY POINT 01

Not yet clear what is driving the performance gap?

When root causes, improvement potential or priorities are not sufficiently clear, we investigate the performance gap and identify where intervention will add value.

ENTRY POINT 02
ENTRY POINT 02

A specific performance challenge requiring action?

TH!When the challenge is sufficiently clear, we act directly. For example, in sales performance, aftersales, leadership, organisational design or execution.

When the challenge is sufficiently clear, we act directly: in sales performance, aftersales, leadership, team development, process improvement or the execution of a transformation initiative.

Performance Diagnostic · when clarity is needed first

Understand before intervening.

A Diagnostic is one possible starting point when the underlying causes are not yet sufficiently clear. It identifies performance gaps, explains their causes, quantifies achievable value and establishes intervention priorities.

07 · The TH!NCK Intervention

From insight to measurable results.

TH!NCK brings together the right focus, expertise, leadership and execution to turn untapped potential into better performance and economic value.

When the potential and root causes are clear, TH!NCK can start directly at intervention level — for example in commercial performance, aftersales, customer experience, leadership and teams, within a single dealership or in a defined transformation challenge.

How does TH!NCK stay focused on root causes during delivery?

Throughout delivery, we keep testing what genuinely influences performance. A challenge visible within one dealership or team may originate there, but it may also reflect management practices, processes, systems, leadership or wider organisational design. We adapt the intervention when evidence requires it.

From the boardroom to the frontline. And from the frontline back to the boardroom.
